A Nocturnal Exploration of the City
March 11, 2022

Grand-Saconnex, Geneva
Nightcrawl proposes an exploration of the Grand-Saconnex neighborhood and its thresholds as the day turns into night. It delves into how the arrival of night impacts this part of the city in various ways, from illumination and sound to the use and occupation of spaces—residential, industrial, infrastructural, and liminal. As we stumble from light into darkness and back again, nightfall will be our guide and our hiding place.
This exploration is developed in collaboration with the Tram des Nations residency, a research program proposed by the Fonds Cantonal d'Art Contemporain, EXPLORE Genève, and Theatrum Mundi, and financed by the Canton of Geneva, the City of Geneva, and the City of Grand-Saconnex. The program consists of two collective and participative residencies taking place in March and April.
